Do I need to register for an account to buy Tg green teas?
No. You can make a purchase without having to register. All you need is a valid e-mail and postal address, so that we can mail your order details.
I did not receive my order confirmation e-mail. What do I do now?
If you haven’t received the order confirmation email in your inbox, you might want to check your spam or trash folder. If you don’t find the email in spam or trash box, do not hesitate to write in to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and one of us will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
How do I know my order has been confirmed?
Once your order has been logged and the payment has been authorised by your bank, you should receive a receipt via email, confirming your order.
When does Tg green tea charge my credit or debit card?
We charge your card only after you’ve added the items to cart and have confirmed the products you wish to buy, the shipping address and the delivery option you wish to use.
Can my order be modified after it has been placed?
If it's not too late, yes. To modify your order, send us an email to email@example.com with your transaction details. If the products have not as yet left our fulfilment centre, we may be able to modify the order. If it's too late, we’ll see what we can do if you promise to give the products you don’t want to someone at the office, school or even a neighbour who you think might be happy to try a new green tea.
How do I cancel my order?
To cancel your order, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your order details and we’ll cancel it promptly. You will receive a refund on your credit/debit card shortly afterwards. Please note that we do not accept cancellations once the teas and/or accessories have been dispatched from our fulfilment centre.
I’m not too happy with the tea (or have received the wrong order). What do I do now?
We want you to be delighted with our teas and your order. If you think we’ve messed up somewhere – with the quality or with quantity or contents of your order – please email us at email@example.com. We’ll be glad to help you out with the best possible solution, including refunding your purchase.
I got a promotional code; what do I do with it?
We are a new tea brand and nothing beats getting the chance to try the products we have developed. To make it easier to try our drinks, we often run promotions on Twitter and with partners. So you may have a promotional code in hand and don’t know what to do with it.
When you have selected what drinks you want to buy, you will see on the checkout page a space to enter a promotional code. Enter whatever code you were provided and, on the next screen, you will see the discount in your basket (less the postage bit) assuming it’s a valid code. Most promotional codes will be 6 or 7 characters long and will be accompanied by the discount % offered as well as the expiry date.
The promo codes are usually valid for no more than once or twice per individual order in order to give other folks a chance to grab some award winning hot & iced teas. If you are in doubt about whether or not the code is still valid, before you check out drop us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will let you know.
If you do get the chance to enjoy one of our promos, thank you! You’ll be among the first to try Tg green teas before the rest of the world does and can say smugly “I tried them before you did”.
DELIVERY & SHIPPING INFORMATION
How is my order delivered?
Tg green tea delivers direct to your door. We deliver throughout the UK, including the Scottish Highlands, the Channel Islands, and Northern Ireland. We try to keep delivery prices to the absolute minimum and process all orders within 48 hours of you placing the order (Monday to Thursday). All our deliveries are expertly packed to minimise the risk of damage. Delivery charges include the cost of packaging and postage.
For deliveries outside of the UK, please get in touch via email@example.com and we will find the best way to get your order delivered.
On what do you base the delivery cost?
Apart from deliveries to the UK mainland, delivery cost is based on the number of items you ordered together with overall weight and volume of the order. The best way to see how much an order will cost is to add the items to your shopping basket and add your address and country or region within the UK.
What is the delivery cost for UK orders?
We will do our best to keep delivery costs to a minimum.
All UK deliveries are charged at £1.00 up to 100g, and £3.00 for orders that weigh over 100g and up to 2kg.
For orders that weigh between 2kg and up to 7kg, a delivery charge of £6.00 will be added to your order.
For orders that weigh 7kg or more, a delivery charge of £10 will apply.
If your order is over 30kg, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will find a more cost effective way to get your order delivered.
How do you deal with most EU and non-EU European orders?
Most non-UK EU orders attract a flat delivery charge for all orders that weigh under 10kg. These orders typically arrive within 7 working days from date of dispatch. We are working hard to reduce this cost over time and hope to implement soon a delivery charging system that better reflects the distance from the UK to the country’s designated “delivery zone” within the EU:
Zone 1 £15.00 – Republic of Ireland, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands.
Zone 2 £16.75 – Austria, Denmark, Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia, Spain.
Zone 3 £19.60 – Estonia, Finland, Hungry, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Slovenia
Zone 4 £21.00 – Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Serbia, Norway, Montenegro, Ukraine.
For high value orders or orders with a total weight of over 10kg, please get in touch with us via and we will get back to you on shipping rates and options.
How do you deal with other European orders?
A delivery charge will apply for all orders that are shipped to certain non-EU European countries including Monaco, Norway, Liechtenstein & Switzerland as well as EU Islands Cyprus, Malta and Gibraltar. Deliveries to non-EU countries take between 7-10 working days from dispatch. Please get in touch with us via and we will get back to you on shipping rates and options.
How do you deal with other international orders?
We have received enquiries from as far away as the Middle East, China and the US where the green tea drinking tradition is well established. We have shipped to customers there already so please get in touch with us via email@example.com and we will get back to you on shipping rates and options for the above mentioned and other international destinations.
Hua, one of the co-founders, speaks fluent Chinese, Japanese and French (she is clearly the cleverer one of the two!) so we may be able to take an order over the telephone, in your native language, as well if that helps you.
PRODUCT, PACKAGING & SAMPLES
Are the ingredients of the hot Tg green tea range organic?
Yes. The range is 100% organic, with organic certificates for both EU bio and USDA.
Do you use any artificial or other flavourings in the hot Tg green tea range?
No. We are committed to selling natural teas, fresh from source. Unlike many other tea brands, we do not use any kind of additives or synthetic flavours in our tea blends. This means you get the chance to enjoy the natural deliciousness of the teas, fruit and botanicals.
Why are the hot Tg green tea range packed in pouches?
Tg green tea was the first brand to introduce pyramid tea bags packed in non-transparent pouches since we’re obsessed about preserving the freshness and goodness of our green teas. Green tea in particular needs to be kept away from the light once it is picked. So we do not pack our teas into transparent pouches – nor carton boxes with transparent windows – as this does not help to ensure the tea you eventually brew in your cup is at its freshest/healthiest best.
After rummaging around the kitchen drawer over the years for a clasp, fold back clip or rubber band to keep closed the plastic bag that come in traditional carton boxes of teas, we also decided “enough was enough” and took a decision to launch Tg green teas in resealable pouches to offer folks a more convenient and modern way to keep their tea at its delicious best down to the last cup!
Where are both hot and iced Tg green tea ranges produced?
Our iced Tg green tea range is proudly bottled in the UK at a bottler partner company in Cambridgeshire. Either or both co-founder(s) of Tg green teas attend each bottling production and Tim, Rob and the team work hard at ensuring a delicious tea infusion is delivered in each bottle.
Our hot Tg green tea range is hand packed not far away from the organic tea plantation in Hangzhou, China. Both co-founders have visited the packing facility and tea plantations which are certified by the Ethical Tea Plantation and regularly checked by international quality and health & safety organisations. Jessie and her team at the packing factory love our teas as much as we do and take care in ensuring the freshest possible organic teas are in each pouch.
Is the PET bottle, cap and label recyclable and why is the empty bottle so heavy?
For our iced Tg green tea range, we use a PET bottle that can withstand hot temperatures of the brewed tea infusion poured into it at the time of filling – hence the bottle itself is a bit heavier than usual. The PET bottles are recyclable and, even better, the UK based supplier of these PET bottles incorporate recycled content into the base material that form the bottles. As well, since we brew/bottle our teas in the UK, the distance traveled by our iced Tg green teas is a lot lower than most other bottled teas on the shelf today.
Our HDPE cap/closures are also 100% recyclable as are the labels so please dispose of empty containers in appropriate recycling bins. As soon as we can afford to, we will switch to more sustainable packaging and we are open to speaking with other companies about solutions that can work with our bottler.
Can you send me a “try before you buy” sample?
You can certainly ask and occasionally we do say “yes”. If we say “no” however please don’t take it personally as if we gave away samples to everyone who asked we’d run out of stock and money.
We regularly offer free Tg green tea gifts via our social media accounts, so please follow us (there are handy links in the footer under "Follow") to get a chance to win a gift from us. We also include our iced and hot teas in subscription boxes (most recently Hello Fresh and The Vegan Kind) and either or both co-founders personally sample Tg green teas often outside retail shops.

Can I choose my samples next time?
No! The surprise is the fun part. However, we try and keep shuffling what we offer as a sample or free gift. Please note that not everyone receives a sample or free gift in their order which is part of the “will I or won’t I” surprise too.
